If you're not Jewish, you might not know that Lag B'Omer is the 33rd day of the Omer, which is the period of time in between Passover and Shavuos. Lag B'Omer celebrates the Jewish spirit and the death of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai. If you have Jewish friends, this would be the perfect time to share in their religious culture, especially since Lag B'Omer is a joyous day that is often celebrated with picnics.
